Test System:
Results: From the chart it is obvious that this cooler performs adequately. It is not great compared to the heavy hitters (TRUE), but it gets the job done quiet well. I am satisfied with the temperatures, though the fan does get a bit louder than most. Otherwise, this cooler performs on par.

Everything above pretty much sums this cooler up. It gets the job done, its not the greatest, but it is much better than stock. Installation and assembly are nearly identical to every other cooler like this. Cooling is nearly identical to all the others of this style.
Pros:
Cons:
Overall I am very satisfied with this cooler. It does the job at a good price, and it does it better than most. Without spending significantly more money it is difficult to get a better cooler. The only major problem I have with this cooler is doesn't have anything that really makes it stand out from the crowd. There are so many CPU coolers to choose from right now, without something to make it really stand out the TherMax II has earned an 8/10. This is still a very good score because the TherMax II does what it should, and it does it well. Check back for more offerings from Spire!
